Main Line Health encourages and supports nursing students as they transition to practice as a new graduate nurse.

Nursing students who have completed at least one clinical rotation will enjoy gaining patient care experience through our Nurse Externship program. Part-time, rotating schedules are available on all shifts with flexibility to meet your needs.

The Nurse Residency Program is a year-long program designed to ease the transition to practice for the new graduate nurse in their first professional role and gain valuable full-time experiences. Both the Nurse Externship and Nurse Residency programs offer opportunities in most clinical specialties.

Perioperative Fellowship program is for nurses interested in training to become Operating Room RNs! We offer this program separately for new graduate nurses and experienced acute care nurses interested in making the transition to the Operating Room.
