As a Home Health nurse through Main Line Health HomeCare & Hospice, you’ll have the opportunity to develop warm relationships with patients and families who rely on your guidance and expertise while maintaining their independence at home. You’ll also be working closely with physicians to develop an individualized plan of care for your patients.

Hospice nursing care can provide patients and families with relief from the symptoms and stresses of a serious illness and in many cases, supports a patient’s desire to spend their last months at home, or in a home-like setting such as a life-care community or nursing facility. As a hospice nurse, you will provide treatments and educate patients and families about the patient’s care, instructing them about medications, home safety and how to manage health conditions to support the patient’s ability to remain independent in the home.
