Make an Impact! Our Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses are experts in providing care to our patients who have wound, ostomy, and/or continence needs. As a WOCN, you would use a comprehensive risk assessment, effective prevention and treatment strategies, as well as patient, family and staff education to achieve positive patient outcomes. Unique to this role, WOCN coordinate and participate in the education of nursing and medical personnel to increase their knowledge and performance skills related to this patient population.

Position: Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse WOCN - Inpatient
Shift: days, 16 hours weekly, 2-8 hour shifts.
Experience:
1. Specialty-specific.
2. Prior staff nurse experience preferred.
Education:
1. RN Diploma, BSN required Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
2. Graduation from a WOCN accredited Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Nursing Education Program.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license and Heartsaver/CPR OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
2. Board certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse.
(Re-certification every 5 years).
