Make an Impact! The VPMA is a medico-administrative executive level leader involved in strategic, clinical, and operational matters. The VPMA is a vital link principally between MLHC Senior leadership/management, MLHC Clinical Operations, and the MLHC Medical Staff.

As the physician member of the MLHC Leadership /management teams, the VPMA communicates and collaborates regularly with the Main Line HealthCare President, the Main Line Health System Department Chairs and MLHC Medical Directors on clinical, Medical Staff administrative and operational matters.

The VPMA supports the partnership between MLHC’s administration/management and the MLHC Medical Staff to achieve annual strategic objectives, clinical goals, and foster a culture whereby clinical input is encouraged.

The VPMA is responsible to advance and lead work in patient safety/culture of safety/ equity, quality, equity and affordability which align to MLH strategic imperatives. The VPMA will oversee and support clinical operations and will serve as an advisor to Department Chairs and MLHC Medical Directors on MLHC strategic, clinical and operational issues. The VPMA helps assure adherence to System level clinical and operational standards in a matrix management model. (This position is a MLHC administrative position not a MLH Medical Staff position.)

Position: Vice President, Medical Affairs
Shift: Full Time

Experience:

1.              Minimum 3 yrs experience in medical staff governance and/or clinical operational leadership.

Education:

1.              Possesses a MD/DO with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and current Board certification.
