System Director, Perioperative Services

The Director of Perioperative Services administrates the managerial function of setting objectives, planning, staffing and directing activities of the campus perioperative areas of responsibilities. You will be responsible for the implementation of strategic initiatives and driving success with key performance indicators, and driving programmatic growth plans across the Main Line Health in partnership with the Campus Management Team and Senior Leadership.

Position: System Director, Perioperative Services
Shift: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Experience:
- Five years clinical experience required in perioperative nursing leadership preferred.
- Knowledge of administrative concepts, organizational behavior, management processes, group dynamics on legal and ethical matters as they pertain to health care organizations and the nursing profession; generally acquired through education and experience.
- Progressive experience in Nursing Administration, prior management, supervisor, or other related leadership experience.
- Knowledge of current nursing practices.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- MSN or other related Masters Degree required.
Licensures/Certifications:
- BLS Certification by American Heart Association preferred upon hire, required in timeframe specified in
CPR (BLS)/ALS/PALS Policy - A current PA RN license; Certification in specialty area desired
