Make an Impact! The Senior Vice President, Facilities Design and Construction is a strategic executive leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's built environment. This role leads four core functions: Construction, Real Estate, Facilities & Maintenance, and Public Safety, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability. Leads the end to-end planning, design, and execution of capital construction projects, including new developments, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades. Oversees the organization’s real estate strategy, including acquisition, leasing, disposition, and portfolio optimization. Directs the management and upkeep of all physical assets, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. Implements preventive maintenance programs, sustainability initiatives, and technology-driven solutions to enhance performance and prolong the life of facilities and equipment. Provides executive leadership over security, emergency preparedness, life safety systems, and regulatory compliance. This position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of capital project delivery, operational excellence, and cross functional collaboration to ensure environments that are safe, functional, and aligned with the institution’s mission and strategic objectives.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction and real estate. Experience in a hospital setting or an organization with a healthcare portfolio a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
