Supervisor, Research Services

The Research Services Supervisor manages the Research Services department, which is responsible for grant lifecycle management, staff onboarding/offboarding, editorial services, research safety, and regulatory research committees.

Shift: Day
Experience:
Minimum 5 experience with grant lifecycle management and research safety, preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required OR minimum 8 years’ experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts training for new LIMR and non-LIMR personnel as necessary. Maintains training records and verifies compliance with HealthStream, CITI Program, and any other required trainings at the required intervals.
- Collaborates with the Training Committee Chair for existing and new training partnerships.
- Maintains and updates specific procedures for various cohorts of non-employees that are rounding at LIMR.
- Works to ensure laboratory staff are trained on Biosafety training modules and remain up to date during their work at the institute.
- Coordinates annual Biosafety Committee laboratory inspections with system EOC and maintains records.
- Ensures all policies and procedures (Policy Manager) are up to date and readily available to staff in the institute.
