Why work as an Sr. Software Engineer with Main Line Health?

Essential Accountabilities:

·       Designs, Develops, and maintains full-stack applications.

·       Sitecore templates and components with Visual Studio, ASP.NET/C#, jQuery, AJAX, etc.

·       Develop visually appealing front-end website architecture, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code.

·       Works with clients to gather business requirements and web page design specifications.

·       Design user interactions on web pages.

·       Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile.

·       Develop and design RESTful services and APIs.

·       Stay current and provide insight on cutting-edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors.

·       Strong attention to detail and sound quality assurance techniques for all tasks.

·       Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.

·       Documents code clearly and consistently.

·       Other duties as assigned.

 

Experience:

·       3+ years of web design and full-stack development experience.

·       Experience creating components, templates, and managing content within Sitecore CMS.

·       Fluent in CSS, JavaScript, and HTML, with an understanding of CSS preprocessors including Sass and Less.

·       Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, SQL, XML, JSON, and AJAX.

·       Proficient knowledge in various JS frameworks and libraries.

·       Experience with Apache and PHP.

·       Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.

·       Experience with responsive design and mobile-first design.

·       Agile or waterfall project management and related project management platforms (Jira, Confluence, etc.).

·       Proficient in Git, and code repository.

·       Proficient in AWS and NodeJS, preferred.

·       Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet potentially aggressive timelines set by clients.

·       Ability to work independently and with a team on a project.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Excellent sense of web design and the fundamentals of user experience.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field (Master’s degree preferred) AND / OR 2+ Years of Web development experience.

Certifications:

Sitecore Certified Developer (preferred)
