The senior analyst will be required to have and maintain any and all application certification for the application(s) they support. The position will require strong communication and analytical skills to interpret appropriate clinical and non-clinical requests.

Essential Accountabilities:

·       Lead new and current project development, including system analysis, planning and preparation. To act an experienced resource dedicated to designing, building, testing, and implementation in collaboration with appropriate departments.

·       Demonstrates experience in creating unique detailed build specifications, documentation, project and change management plans.

·       Demonstrates the ability to create pre and post project benchmarking metrics.

·       Collaborate and lead other IT analysts and vendors to identify system optimization and enhancements to design and implement effective solutions.

·       Exhibits the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, educate and mentor other team members, and manage client expectations.

·       Lead meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.

·       Travel to various locations, including occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.

·       Achieves and maintains certification status in assigned application(s) and working knowledge of other related applications.

·       Develop and maintain models and documentation of operations, business and system requirements and configure system accordingly.

·       Lead / contribute to the preparation of testing scripts and materials and perform unit, system, and integrated testing tasks.

·       Provide support and proactive service, by phone and through onsite visits as appropriate, to assess user needs including analysis of opportunities to take advantage of existing workflows and tools.

·       Complete project tasks within the defined project deadlines.

·       Champion the EHR, provide support in the ongoing implementations, optimizations, and upgrades.

·       Participate in the on-call support schedule as defined by the supporting on call policy.

 

Experience

·       Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years recent healthcare information systems or clinical / revenue management systems experience.

·       Large scale healthcare systems planning and implementation experience on application software products is preferred.

Education: 
Education bachelor's degree in technology, clinical or related field preferred, and/or equivalent experience/training.


Licensures/Certifications:
Current Epic certification(s) and/or appropriate certifications as defined by role.
