Could you be our next Specialty Team Coordinator RN for Robotics at Lankenau Medical Center?

  • Be on the cutting edge! This is a great leadership opportunity in the Operating Room! Our Specialty Team Coordinators help to plan, organize, and direct the specialty services under their charge. On a day-to-day basis, you would monitor room turnover and case setup as well as make room assignments for your team. You would also provide employees with their annual performance appraisals, provide ongoing education and evaluation, serve as the technical resource person, train new hires, and manage your specialty’s resources and equipment. This position supports the ROBOTICS service line(s).

    Lankenau Operating Room Highlights include:

    • Lankenau is recognized as High Performing in sixteen total specialties, with regards to the OR, they include: Aortic Valve Surgery, Cardiology and Heart Surgery, Colon Cancer Surgery, Hip and Knee Replacement, Lung Cancer Surgery, Spinal Fusion, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
    • Our Operating Room features the latest da Vinci Surgical System’s robotic technology. We have 6 robots at Lankenau total.
    • Accreditations include: The Society of Thoracic Surgeons in the Highest Quality Tier for Cardiac Surgery, Aetna Institutes of Quality Designation for Spine Surgery, Blue Distinction Centers for Knee and Hip Replacements.

Position: Specialty Team Coordinator RN
Shift: Monday - Friday: Days

Experience:
At least three (3) years of nursing experience in the Operating Room required.

Education:
1. RN Diploma, ASN required.
2. BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
3. CNOR within 12 months.
