Could You Be Our Next Sonographer at Lankenau?
As a Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using advanced imaging technology while providing compassionate care to patients. You will prepare patients for exams, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis.
Key Position Details
Position: Sonographer
Schedule: Per Diem - 16hr/month
Experience
- Three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred
Education
- Graduate of a JRCERT-approved program
Licensure / Certification
- RDMS certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography issuing authority within 18 months of hire.
- RVT within 18 months of hire
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using appropriate imaging protocols
- Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate ultrasound equipment and evaluate images for technical quality
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support accurate diagnosis
- Travel to other Main Line Radiology locations as needed
