- Make an Impact! Under the direction of the Administrative Director or Lab Manager, the Section Supervisor, is responsible for the supervision of staff, technical leadership and scheduling for a section within MLHL.

- Get Involved! In partnership with other MLHL supervisors is responsible for providing laboratory services to MLH patients, physicians, and staff. Maintains positive, collaborative problem solving relationships with other MLHL management staff, MLHL Medical Director, and other Pathologists. Also maintains effective working relationships with key administrative staff at MLH hospitals.

Position: Section Supervisor, Lab- 40 hours/week
Shift: Day Shift- on call requirement 1x every 11-12 weeks
Experience:
If ASCP certified, 4 years experience in a clinical laboratory with at least 2 years in the designated laboratory specialty; or HEW/HHS Certification plus 6 years relevant laboratory experience
Education:
Thorough knowledge of medical technology generally acquired through a degree in Medical Technology. An Associates Degree is required in medical technology or one of the chemical or biological sciences. A Bachelor degree is preferred
Licensures/Certifications:
ASCP registry or equivalent certification. Certification will be deemed equivalent if the requirements meet or exceed those of ASCP.
