Main Line Health Procurement & Project Coordinator at Main Line Health (Ellis Preserve)
Involved with planning and coordinating the medical equipment requirements for MLHC projects. Identifies medical equipment requirements working with Practice Directors/Administrators, through planning work sessions, transition meetings and construction meetings. Coordinates medical equipment specification information from vendors with design team members including architects, engineers and other consultants for the completion of construction documents. Responsible for preparing budgets for the planned equipment and services related to projects Provides coordination for the following areas within the Procurement Department of MLHC; Purchasing related transitional work for new locations joining the MLHC network, manage vendor relations and contracts, monitors service contracts to insure they meet the end user requirements and specifications and minimize cost to the Main Line HealthCare System. Provide customer support for purchasing inquiries
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Practice Directors and Administrators to identify medical equipment requirements through planning work sessions, transition meetings, and construction meetings.
- Coordinates equipment specification information with architects, engineers, vendors, and other design team members to support the development of accurate construction documents.
- Prepares detailed equipment budgets and cost projections for all assigned projects. Ensures equipment plans align with clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and MLHC standards.
Procurement Support
- Provides purchasing-related transitional support for new practices joining the MLHC network.
- Manages vendor relations, oversees procurement contracts, and monitors service agreements to ensure compliance with end-user requirements while minimizing cost to the organization.
- Communicates with internal stakeholders and vendors to address purchasing inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Position: Full-time; Day shift with travel involved
Education: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of purchasing or contract negotiation experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of equipment planning experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment.
- Strong understanding of medical equipment and physician practice/clinic operations.
- Clinical background (nursing, biomedical engineering, or other clinical specialties) is strongly preferred.
- Computer proficiency required, including experience with spreadsheets and databases.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
