You may assist in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the physician/surgeon. You will see patients independently in the Outpatient Clinic. Position: Physician Assistant, PA / Nurse Practitioner, NP - Gastroenterology
Shift: Full Time, 40 hours/week.  Monday  - Friday 8 hour day shift.  No weekends or Holiday's

Experience: 
1. Two (2) years experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Required.
2. One (1) year experience in Gastroenterology Required.
3. Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.

Education: 
1. Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
2. MSN Required.


Licensures/Certifications: 
1. Must be certified  by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
2. Active license with Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
3.Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross).
4. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
