Position: Nurse Practitioner, NP/ Physician Assistant - Hospitalist Medicine
Shift: Full Time, 40 hours/week day shift. Monday - Friday 7a -3p, no weekends or holidays
Experience:
2 years Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred in Hospitalist Medicine or related departments
Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in an inpatient setting preferred.
Education:
Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
MSN or Masters of Science Required.
Licensures/Certifications:
Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) or Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
Require ACLS certification.
May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).
Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
