You will be responsible for coordinating the clinical care of patients in the oncology program; working closely with physicians, imaging staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to promote a coordinated approach to care. Additional responsibilities you will be assigned: participate in program development, quality initiatives, budget preparation, and other activities affecting the overall operations of the oncology  program. You will act as the patient advocate and liaison with inpatient and outpatient members of the treatment team. The work you do makes a tremendous impact!

Position: Nurse Navigator- Lankenau Medical Associates- Outpatient
Shift: Part Time- 24 hours/week- 4 days/week, 6 hours/day

Experience:
1. Three (3) years oncology experience.
2. One (1) year oncology nursing preferred. Supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
3. Strong and effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Self starter, enthusiastic, able to motivate others.
4. Strong interpersonal skills; able to professionally interact with all internal and external customers.
5. Strong service excellence commitment. Excellent patient care skills. Patient and family education experience.

Education:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required.
2. Master’s Degree in nursing preferred

Licensures/Certifications:
1. Current license to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
2. Current certification in oncology nursing by ONC preferred (or required within two (2) years of hire date).
