As a Maternal Care Technician working on a busy unit, you will perform specific nursing-related duties in providing for the personal care, vital signs, venipuncture, and ambulating & transporting patients. You will also perform and support new mothers in newborn care as directed by the Primary Nurse. When the new mothers and babies are resting or visiting with family, the Maternal Care Technical assists in planning, organizing, and implementing activities occurring on the nursing unit by performing clerical, receptionist duties while maintaining the physical environment of the area.

Position: Maternal Care Technician
Shift: Night, 7pm-7am, 3x12 hour shifts per week.

Experience:
Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Education:
1. High School graduate or equivalent required.
2. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
3. Ability to perform basic math skills.


Licensures/Certifications:
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
