In this role as a team leader, you will lead by example, oversee staff, and be able to step in when needed. There is also a component of covering weekends and holidays in this lead position.

Position: Lead Patient Transporter
Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm with an every other weekend/holiday requirement

Experience: 
1. Must have thorough knowledge of the Patient Transportation function in an acute-care hospital and be able to perform all functions within Patient Transportation to include Transporting, Customer Service, Dispatching, and responding to Hospital codes. 
2. Must have experience scheduling assignments and implementing staff schedules. 
3. Ability to read and write English required. 
4. Basic math skills required. 
5. Ability to learn function-specific software required. 
6. Knowledge of personal computer applications required. 

Education: 
High School Diploma / GED required.
