Under the general supervision of the laboratory supervisor, the Lab Assistant II processes and handles specimens for testing in multiple Clinical and Anatomic areas of the laboratory. Position: Laboratory Assistant II- The shifts are 9-hour shifts between 645- 5pm

Weekend every other Sat hours 645-1pm. Sunday 845-2p- This role will travel between PMH, KOP, Exton and Collegeville!

Experience: 

• 2+ years laboratory experience required. 
• Proficiency in 2 different areas of the lab strongly preferred.
• 1 year experience with infant collections

Education: 
High school graduate or equivalent, certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred, moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills. 

Licensures/Certifications:

Maintains certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods.
