Graduate Nurses:

Main Line Health’s Nurse Residency Program is one of the many examples of how Main Line Health encourages and supports career growth and development. Each year, Main Line Health kicks off a Spring and Fall cohort to align with varying graduation dates.  To find out which application you would qualify for, visit our careers page.

2024 Nurse Residency Cohort application dates:

· Fall 2024 cohort

(January- June graduates) December 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024

·Spring 2025 cohort 

(July - December graduates) August 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024

Please check our career events page to register for one of our upcoming Nursing Programs Virtual Information Session, kicking off in June 2024. These virtual meetings are held monthly and provide more insight into our Nurse Residency & Nurse Extern Programs.

Perioperative Fellowship

Main Line Health’s Perioperative Fellowship Program is for nurses interested in training to become Operating Room RNs! We offer this program separately for new graduate nurses and experienced acute care nurses interested in making the transition to the Operating Room.

Nurse Extern Program:

All nursing students who are looking to gain patient care experience while receiving their education are welcome to apply to our Nurse Extern Program. Schedules are flexibility and positions are available in most clinical specialties. These are exceptional opportunities to prepare for the clinical setting after graduation.

The application for our Nurse Extern Program is posted from the beginning of January until the end of March each year and are open to freshman, sophomore, and junior nursing students.
