Position: Respiratory Program Instructor
Shift: Day Shift, 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday; Evening and weekend availability may be needed for class events. Travel required as part of position to clinical and education sites.
Experience:
Minimum four years full-time experience in Respiratory Care. Two years' experience shall include clinical educational experience. Simulation experience strongly preferred.
Education:
1. Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
2. Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
3. May be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with defined academic goals and considerable experience in Respiratory care, including both clinical and education.
4. Must be willing to enroll in a Master’s Program and complete within four (4) years.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
2. Current Pennsylvania State License required.
3. Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) credential preferred.
4. Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential preferred.
5. Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C) credential preferred.
6. CPR Instructor certification preferred.
7. ACLS Instructor certification preferred.
